Craicmore brings a theatrical touch to its Holiday audience. While performing joyful and heartfelt seasonal songs like I Saw Three Ships, The Wassail Song and Sleigh Ride, along with traditional Scottish and Irish music, Craicmore traces the roots of some of America's Christmas traditions to their Celtic origins.

A cozy living room area is set stage right with Craicmore's theatrical fireplace, decorated Christmas tree, handsome Irish Harp, small side table with arm chair and a large book of holiday stories and myths. Around the stage are seasonal decorative accents, an evergreen wreath, holly and fir boughs, tartan ribbon, red bows and golden bells.

Throughout the musical program, members of the group sit in the armchair, in front of the fire, accompanied by Irish Harp live on stage, and read aloud brief tales of the origins of Irish and Scottish Yuletide traditions; the Celtic origins of mistletoe, holly and ivy, a brief explanation and sing-along of the 12 Days of Christmas, a humorous poem about Mrs. Fogarty's (not so delicious) Christmas Cake, and others.
The audience will enjoy Irish Harp accompaniment and about a half dozen 4 - 5 minute spoken word pieces; engaging, funny and warm.

The evening ends with a traditional Irish Christmas farewell, a Scottish song and a rousing set of jigs.
